I highly recommend a book called: When Santa fell to earth, by Cornelia Funke. I recommend this book because it is a brilliant way to get into the Christmassy mood when needed, and it’s one of those books you can read over and over again and not get bored, and let me tell you I HATE reading books over and over again, but this one I have at least read 18 times going on 19 and every page is still full of excitement and mystery. This book has everything a Christmas book needs, it has angels, elves, invisible reindeer, snow, a caravan (yes every story needs to have a caravan to be truly great) glow worms, nutcrackers, Gerald goblynch and his team and of corse the big guy santa himself. Now I’m going to give you a little preview of When sant fell to earth, santa and his “team” are trying to hide from the ” bad santas ” when there is a terrible storm, of corse their only transportation crash lands and santa falls to earth his reindeer flees and the wheels are broken, santa is stuck in the human world. However santa quite likes the company he gets until goblynch and his bad santas find him. Does santa survive, will goblynch and his team be beat? Read it and find out.
